EA to create 10 Xbox games

Game software maker Electronic Arts said Monday will create 10 titles for Microsoft's Xbox within 12 months of the game console's debut. The company will unveil four Xbox games at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles later this week, including three sports titles. Redwood City, Calif.-based EA plans to showcase "Madden NFL 2002," "NHL 2002" and "F1 2001," a Formula 1 racing game. EA will also bring "The Simpsons Road Rage," "Pirates of Skull Cove," "Medal of Honor Allied Assault," and "Cel Damage" to Xbox.
