Disney to open Indiana Jones restaurant and bar (snake-free, we hope)

Luckily, insects and monkey brains won't be on the menu at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, opening this fall at Walt Disney World. "Rolling Boulder Meatballs" will be, however.

Starting this fall, adventurers in search of the right place to dine while planning their next archeological dig will be able to converge on an Indiana Jones-themed restaurant and bar at Walt Disney World.

Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is named after the pilot who helps Indiana Jones escape all those angry natives at the beginning of "Raiders of the Lost Ark."

Food and drinks such as Primate Parfait and Cristpy Coleoptera, as seen in "Temple of Doom," are not on this menu. Instead, Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar plans on offering drinks like "Hovito Mojito" and themed snacks such as "Air Pirates Everything Pretzels" and "Rolling Boulder Meatballs."

The restaurant and bar at the Bay Lake, Fla., theme park will be designed to look like the inside of an old airplane hangar complete with propeller ceiling fans as part of the aviation decor inside. Vintage travel posters and letters between Jock and Indy will decorate the walls.

Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is quite the departure from the usual bars Indy frequents. After all, there will be no Chinese gangsters lurking about as in Club Obi Wan from "Temple of Doom" or drunk sherpas in Marion Ravenwood's tavern "The Raven" in Nepal or shady characters puffing away on hookahs as in the Marhala Bar in Cairo from "Raiders of the Lost Ark."

Still, hopefully fans will have their own adventures at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar worthy of another Indiana Jones movie.
