As the candidates prepared to square off for the third and final presidential debate at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the Republican nominee for president posted a live feed to the debate with a comment that said: "If you're tired of biased, mainstream media reporting (otherwise known as Crooked Hillary's super PAC), tune into my Facebook Live broadcast."
The alternative feed, which at one time drew more than 200,000 viewers, featured commentary from retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, according to Buzzfeed. Additionally, the video section on Trump's official Facebook campaign page sports a heading called "#TrumpTV."
The broadcast comes amid increasing speculation Trump was preparing to launch a Trump-branded TV network. Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law through his marriage to Trump's daughter, Ivanka, has discussed the idea with Aryeh B. Bourkoff, the chief executive of investment bank LionTree, according to a Financial Times report Monday.
The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
