Dell ST2310 monitor earns its low price

Dell's ST2310, fully reviewed, drawn, and quartered.

Packed with an abundance of features, the ST2310 is...wait. Oh, it doesn't have a lot of features? OK, never mind. Josh P. Miller/CNET

A few months back I reviewed the 21.5-inch Dell SX2210, and when Dell first told me they'd be sending the ST2310, I gathered it would simply be a 23-inch version of the SX2210, given their similar aesthetic that contrasts each monitor's glossy black bezel with a stark white chassis.

That was not the case. The ST2310 is just your basic, bare-bones 16:9 monitor with a TN (Twisted Nematic) panel. If I had a dime for every one of those that came through here... well honestly I'd only be about a dollar to $1.50 richer, but that's beside the point!

Anyway, check out the full review of the ST2310 to see how it compares to other recent 23-inchers that have been dragged kicking and screaming to my laboratory. You'll also discover why it earns its current $179 price tag.
