Comcast home networking not Mac compatible

Comcast home networking not Mac compatible

This week Comcast unveiled a new service dubbed "Home Networking" that simply allows users to share the company's high-speed cable Internet connection, printers and other devices, and provide other functionality.

"Your Comcast Home Network allows you to share access to the Internet, files, CD drives, and printers across the network - so the whole household can share a High-Speed connection at the same time."

Unfortunately, the service is not yet compatible with Macs.

A statement on the company's site reads "Does Comcast Home Networking support Macintosh computers? At this time, Comcast Home Networking does not support Macintosh computers."
