Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Windows, happy birthday to you!

Yes, on the CNET UK podcast this week, we're wishing Windows a happy 30th birthday as we look back over the highs and lows of Microsoft's desktop operating system. The lows may or may not include that jerk Clippy.

We also discuss Sky's new premium set-top box, Sky Q, which lets you record four channels at once, while simultaneously watching a fifth. The ability to transfer recorded shows and movies to a tablet for watching on long flights is the cherry on top, which CNET Reporter and eternal traveller Katie Collins is particularly excited about.

Finally, Black Friday is becoming more of a hassle for stores -- and the police -- so Katie and Senior Editor Andrew Hoyle debate whether this shopping phenomenon is one of the less well-received US imports. We also take your feedback on what top tech you're most excited to splash your money on.
