CNET UK Podcast 280: ICS, GiffGaff and Jurassic Park

As spring arrives, which gadgets will survive our spring clean-up? And what's gone wrong with Ice Cream Sandwich, GiffGaff and Jurassic Park?

Spring is here! The sun is out, the birds are singing, and our thoughts have turned to spring cleaning. We throw open the curtains and dive headfirst into our hoard of gadgets, apps and social networks. New iPad or netbook, smart phone or toaster -- which gadgets will survive the spring clean and which will we dump forever?

These are just some of the questions we ponder as we gather in our cuckoo clock-shaped podcast studio at CNET Towers to give the technology world a good old dust round the edges. In this episode, Rich, Natasha and Luke discuss the shambles that is the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy S2, a waterlogged week for GiffGaff, and the arrival of Jurassic Park in dino-tastic 3D. Hold onto your butts!

In the Crave section of the podcast, we each pick our favourite gadget that's caught our eye this week. Natasha gets egg-cited about the egg-cellent Amiga Mini, Luke is stung by a robot jellyfish, and Rich takes to the Sky with Now TV. But there can be only one winner in Crave, which is decided each week by a mysterious gadget-obsessed arbiter of top tech.

And we turn to you, dear listener, for your thoughts, comments and questions in the feedback section. Whether you need help with gadgets going wrong or just want to get something off your chest about today's technology, leave us a comment below or on our Facebook page -- home of like-minded gadget fans, behind-the-scenes pictures from CNET Towers, and all manner of stuff to keep you hooked on your computer when you could be outside in the sunshine.

Editor's note: A problem with the sound recording meant that Natasha was even quieter than usual at the beginning of this week's podcast. We replaced the original audio with an enhanced version where she's turned up a bit, but you may have already downloaded the old version from iTunes. If you delete it and redownload, you should get the new version.
