Activision today released a new trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer beta, which provides the first details about what fans can expect from it.
As you can see in the video, the beta will have at least three maps and seven modes. The video specifically says three-plus maps and seven-plus modes are included, suggesting more of each may be added later. Players will also get to check out Black Ops III's new movement system using eight different "Specialist" characters.
You'll also be able to test out Black Ops III's weapon customization tools, including the paintshop.

It's launching first for on PS4 as part of Sony's new exclusivity arrangement with Activision for Black Ops III, which will also see the game's DLC debut on PlayStation platforms.
You can get into the Black Ops III multiplayer beta by pre-ordering. Doing so gets you an access code that you can redeem on the official Call of Duty website. The beta is not coming to Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.
The full version of Black Ops III is set for release on November 6. At Comic-Con last month, we learned about the game's new Zombies mode, which will star Jeff Goldblum and Ron Perlman.
