The action adventure title, which follows the story of brother and sister assassins in Victorian London, is scheduled for launch on PC from November 19. That equates to about a month delay from the PS4 and Xbox One release date, which is October 23. Previously, Ubisoft had given the PC build a "Holiday 2015" release target.
While Assassin's Creed Syndicate is principally designed at Ubisoft Quebec, duties for the PC port have been delegated to Ubisoft Kiev in Ukriane.
Sam Kovalev, production manager at Ubisoft Kiev, said the delay has been enacted to ensure the build ships with minimum problems.
"We have introduced several new improvements to our production pipeline and validation process, which allowed us to focus on polishing, stabilising and optimising the PC version very early on in the project," he said, as quoted on the Ubisoft Blog.
"This has been one of the top priorities for the production team this year."
The discussion around build quality of PC games, as compared to their console counterparts, has flared up in recent weeks.
In June, publisher Warner Bros released Batman Arkham Knight across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, yet the latter version was plagued with so many bugs that it was widely deemed unplayable.
Warner Bros. Interactive removed the version from PC games retailers, and is currently reworking the code so that it operates to a reasonable standard.
Assassin's Creed Unity, released about a year before Syndicate, was notorious for carrying numerous bugs and glitches across all versions.
