Even after providing a number of workarounds for problematic Wi-Fi connection problems with the iPad, Apple now says it will offer a fix in the form of a software update in the future.
There is no date given for when this update would arrive.
Apple says a "very small number of people" have experienced the problem.
Reports of Wi-Fi connection issues first appeared following the release of the Wi-Fi-only model iPad in early April. One of the most reported problems was weak or fluctuating signal strength, which resulted in slow downloads. Apple also published someat the time.
