Adobe updates e-book reader for Macs

Adobe Systems says it released its final version of its Adobe Acrobat eBook Reader 2.1 for Macintosh. The reader features Adobe CoolType font technology, a two-page layout feature, and a built-in dictionary. It can be downloaded for free from Adobe's Web site. The San Jose, Calif.-based company said that with the new version, Mac users can view any PDF-based e-book in a variety of font sizes. The reader's dictionary provides definitions when someone clicks on a word in the text.
