Today, Ableton announced the availability of Live 5.2. The update brings immediate native support to Intel-based Macs and is among the first professional audio applications on the market with the Universal Binary designation, which basically means it runs on Intel-based Macs. If you already own Live 5, you can update to the latest version for $49. Of course, version 6 is also due out this year (Q3), so you may want to wait for that. If you're purchasing Live for the first time, U.S. pricing is $499 for the boxed version or $469 for the download.
