CES 2014: Whirlpool goes retro with the Credenza

0:45 /

At CES 2014 at Las Vegas, CNET's Rich Brown takes a first look at the Whirlpool Credenza, a nifty refrigerator unit that also has a retro feel to it.

Hi. I'm Rich Brown for CNET. We're here at CES and we're gonna take a look now at the Whirlpool Credenza. So, right now this is a concept piece, but the idea is that it sort of brings refrigeration to a very living-room-friendly setup here. They've got a couple of refrigerator compartments here. This-- all these drawers slide out. This other one here. You pull like a candy tray, or something. So right now, again, this is just a concept piece, although Whirlpool has brought concepts to market that have shown at shows like this. So you never know when it just might be a real product. So, I'm Rich Brown and this is the Whirlpool Credenza.
