What to expect from E3 2015, the biggest video game show on Earth
Hey, everyone!
I'm Jeff Bakalar.
So E3 is right around the corner and I'm going back once again to Las Angeles to scour the show floor in search of the absolute best of the world of video games has to offer.
So, just what should we expect this year?
Well, first thing's first: the press conferences.
Things get started nice and early this year- With Bethesda Softworks, a publisher that will host it's first ever E3 press conference on Sunday June 14th.
Here we're hoping to find out more about Fallout 4. Hopefully, we'll get to see some gameplay of that and much more.
Then there's the relaunch of DOOM, something we don't know much about.
Who knows, we may even hear about a dishonored sequel.
Either way Bethesda is set up to have a killer E3.
Now the next day of press conferences kicks off with Microsoft in the morning.
We already know about the new Xbox One with the 1 TB inside, but we're wondering if they're gonna talk more about Windows 10 integration, and HoloLens, and obviously the brand-new news about Oculus Rift.
Of course we'll see Halo 5 in action along with the Rise of the Tomb Raider and maybe a few yet to be announced titles.
Of course at Sony and Microsoft, it's all about the exclusive games and at Sony's press conference we're hoping to see more only on Playstation games.
We know Unchartered 4 has been delayed.
We're hoping to see some new titles that fill the gap between now and then.
Rumors are even starting to swirl again that we might actually see The Last Guardian, again, that has been famously absent from E3 for the last few years after it was announced at E3 2009.
EA and Ubisoft will also have press conferences on Monday the 15th.
So expect to see EA show off a new season of sports games with Madden, FIFA, NHL, and PGA tour titles in addition to games like Mirror's Edge, Catalyst, and Star Wars Battlefront.
Switching gears to UBISOFT, they've got a ton of software to catch us up on including the new Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Rainbow Six Siege, and the Division.
But what about the games that aren't going to be at any of the press conferences.
I'm personally keeping an eye out for games like No Man's Sky, Stay of X Mankind Divided, Battle Born, Mad Max.
Star Fox for Wii U, Street Fighter 5 and well the list goes on and on.
Make sure you keep it here for the absolute latest from E3, [UNKNOWN], GameStop and Giant Bomb, all will be teaming up to bring you the most complete and comprehensive coverage Straight from the show floor in Los Angeles.
