The Vizio VHT210 sound bar sports an uncommonly compact design and sounds better playing music than the average in its class, but its input options are limited.

Hi I'm Matthew Moskovciak senior associate editor at cnet.com and we're here with the Visio VH TT tech. This is a sound -- home theater system and is currently selling for about 250 dollars. This you as a classic sound bar home theater system design with a long cylindrical sound bar paired up with -- wireless subwoofer. The sound -- itself is surprisingly light and we really like this sturdy metal feet on the bottom for placing it on a TV at. The subwoofer is very compact and it's wireless designed as you a lot of flexibility and where you place it in your living room. Include a remote has a great minimalist design which -- power volume and you funds. Even better if you slide out the bottom you'll get access to several more controlled. Including input buttons and bass and treble controls you can also adjust the subwoofer volume level directly from the -- The -- -- attends biggest weakness is its connectivity. If you look around back there's just one optical input and an analog audio -- it so it really won't act as a switcher unless you have a really basic home theater. Alternatively you can connect all your devices directly to -- HDTV. And then use its audio out but if that's an option on yours. You may also notice that there's no traditional LCD display on the front of the sound bar. That's because the video uses lights behind the speaker grill to indicate volume level and also for choosing and -- The system works well for volume -- it's easy to see how loud the sound bars buying. But for choosing input it's a little bit more confusing because you have to remember which like corresponds to -- and considering the small size of the subwoofer and the light feel the sound bar we weren't expecting much from the system but we were pleasantly surprised by its full body sent. When we match it up against Samsung's competing HWC 450 we did -- up favoring the Samsung. With its largest of doing a better job of handling loud scenes of movies. On the other hand the busiest sounded better than average with two channel music which is something many sound -- -- So while wasn't the best sounding sound bar we've tested the busiest performance will be good enough for most non critical listeners. To sum it all up we like a Visio VHT -- and sound bar for its uncommonly compact design. And it's better than average performance for music but keep in mind that has input options are limited.
