First Look: Toshiba Satellite W30T (Click): A 13.3-inch tablet-laptop hybrid with plenty of storage

1:12 /

The Toshiba Satellite W30T (Click) packs Intel or AMD processors and a 500GB hard drive into a 13.3-inch tablet with a keyboard dock.

I'm Andrew Hoyle for CNET, and I'm over in Berlin for the IFA tech show. Right now, I'm taking a look of the Toshiba W30T. It's a 13.3-inch tablet-laptop hybrid with a choice of processors and a lot of storage. For the main section is of course the tablet part which houses all the components. It's pretty big, but it does need room to packing a 500-gigabyte hard drive, which is a hell of a lot for a tablet. Screen has a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution which isn't very impressive. I'd really hope to see quite of it more on a display of this size, but it's at least fairly bright. It's available with an AMD processor or an Intel One. Now the Intel One is a bit more barely giving extra power, but does need fan cooling, so it's physically heavier and you do get a bit less battery life. Both Intel and AMD models will be available from November. The AMD model will cost 599 pounds while the Intel One will take you about 699 pounds. Make sure to keep it at CNET for all the latest from IFA. I'm Andrew Hoyle, and this is the Toshiba W30T.
