[ Music ] ^M00:00:07 >> Hi. I'm Antuan Goodwin and this is your first look at our Editor's Choice Award winning TomTom Go 740 Live. Now the Go 740 Live is TomTom's first GPS device to beat your built-in wireless data connection. This can offer a few new features that we haven't seen before in TomTom nav units. The first is local search powered by Google which puts rich point of interest data at your fingertips. Users can search for businesses or restaurants and received detailed information including rating, payment accepted, attire and much more. If your bluetooth phone's connected, you can even make a call from the device to make reservations. The Go 740 Live is also able to deliver traffic information with real time flow data not just incidents. It can also search for the latest fuel prices in the area and receive local and five-day weather forecast. TomTom Buddies is a feature that allows you to share your location with friends who also have TomTom Gos so you can send instant messages back and forth to each other. Well, Quick GPS Fix uses cellular triangulation to update unit's location for a faster satellite lock. Three months of Live services included in the 500-dollar MSRP after which you have to pay a 10-dollar month subscription fee. In addition to those Live services, the TomTom Go 740 Live also features IQ Routes which is a routing algorithm that looks for anonymous historical speed data for you and other TomTom users to offer you faster and more accurate routes. For example if the unit sees that a highway is typically congested on weeknights during rush hours, then it will attempt to route you around it. TomTom MapShare is a feature that allows you too to correct inaccurate map data such as improperly named streets, illegal terms, speed limits, et cetera and submit those corrections to be shared with other TomTom users. Text-to-speech, bluetooth handsfree calling and voice command round up to Go 740 Live's impressive collection of technologies. Now the simple addition of wireless data connection creates a quantum leap in the Go's level functionality and utility when compared to the competition which is why we're gonna award the TomTom Go 740 Live our Editor's Choice. I'm Antuan Goodwin and this has been your first look at the TomTom Go 740 Live, our Editor's Choice Award winner. ^M00:02:17 [ Music ]
