This LG fridge rocks built-in Bluetooth speakers
[MUSIC]
WE reviewed a lot of LG's, door in door, refrigerators that have this, sort of, secret compartment.
Where you can access the indoor shelves.
But none of them have had a bluetooth speaker until this one.
It's the LG LFXS30786S and up there on the top of the inner rib, you can see that bluetooth speaker.
Press that button and pair with your phone and you can stream audio from whatever service you're using.
Or, listen to a podcast while you're cooking breakfast.
A nice little feature up there.
Now I was concerned that speaker wasn't going to sound that great because it's kind of hidden behind the doors whenever you close them.
And I worried it might be a bit muffled but the sound quality is actually pretty good.

The voices on Podcasts I listened to sounded crystal clear and music sounded good too.
The refrigerator offers about 30 cubic feet of total storage space which is quite a bit.
You get 19.5 of those cubic feet up in the fridge compartment itself.
It's a nice interior with nice sturdy construction and shelves that slide in and out and they move around easily.
Drawers glide really smoothly.
It all just feels nice But one exception is that door in door compartment.
If you take a look at it, you've got this plastic barrier that you have to open every time you want to get in from the inside.
That's clunky and kind of poor execution in my opinion.
Also it's the one part of the fridge that feels really flimsy.

Another problem with that door in door compartment.
It runs a little hot.
Take a look at this heat map.
You can see that the orange hot spots there in the door in door compartment rise up above 40.
And then look at the three crisper bins inside the fridge.
They get warmer the closer you are to that door in door compartment on the right.
That's pretty clear evidence that that door in door compartment.
Compromises performance.
Now, all that said, this is a pretty nice refrigerator that has very good performance.
The inner-body of the fridge was extremely accurate.
Very consistent in all of our tests.
And I think that it has a lot to offer.
Just be prepared to break out the checkbook because it costs $4,000.
It's quite an expensive fridge.
But, it is a pretty nice one if you got the money to splurge.
