Mobile World Congress 2014: The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 adds new features to its 8-inch design

1:40 /

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is a comfortable 8-inch tablet, with an elegantly simple design and better stylus support than previous iterations.

Hey everyone this is Eric Franklin and I am here in Barcelona Spain and I am taking a first look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Here it is it has an eight inch screen, 1280 by 800 resolution, comes with the S pen of course, as all notes do,. If your are used to the Not 10.1 it comes with a lot of those same apps, like S Note and Awesome Note, which is kind of a to-do list tracker app. As Samsung tablets go, there is an IR blaster a volume rocker and power button. The Note can be used as a universal remote,. This is the international version so it will have SIM card slot with 3G support, so it will be a phone as well as a tablet. The US version will just be a tablet and will include a micro SD card slot. There is also a front camera and back camera. The tablet is fairly light and thin and feels good in my hands. Once again, this is Eric Franklin with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
