First Look: The rugged Nikon Coolpix AW100

The rugged Nikon Coolpix AW100 is a fine choice for shallow water or dry land adventures -- just make sure you have plenty of light.

And speaking of water proofing the -- battery card slot and ports are all under this single door which is nice. But the lock could be a little bit better a little bit more -- here. -- can also be a bit better is the -- It has a small maximum aperture F 39. Which means if you're shooting in less than full sun. Year probably going to be using high ISOs are slow shutter speeds in order to get a good shot. So well as photos are pretty good when you have plenty of light. Shooting indoors without a flash or deep underwater. Probably won't get you great shots. Otherwise it's a good rugged compact especially in light of its price which is now down below 300 dollars.
