The new Fitbit Flex has a removable sleeve, NFC, and a sleep alarm.

Hey, guys. Sharon Vaknin here from CES taking a first look at the Fitbit Flex. Now unlike the Fitbit One, you can see that Fitbit came out with an entirely new wristband design for their latest fitness gadget. Like the JawBone Up and the Nike Fuelband, you wear it on your wrist and it tracks your steps, the distance walked, and the approximate calories burned. It will even track your sleeping habits letting you know which nights you get better sleep than others and helping you improve that habit. The Flex sings with your mobile device, iOS and Android coming at the end of January to help you view all of your stats any time of day no matter where you are. It's also NFC-enabled, so you take out your NFC-enabled phone, tap it to the Fitbit and your stats will immediately pop up. The Flex comes in a variety of colors plus if you'd like, you can actually take out the core device and put it in a different colored wristband. The Flex also vibrates, letting you know when you've achieved your goal, and the vibrating function is also used as an alarm, so you can set up an alarm with the Flex, and it will wake you up with the vibration. The Flex will come out this spring 2013, retailing for $99.95. For CNET.com, I'm Sharon Vaknin.
