Tekzilla Daily: Tekzilla Daily: Edit pictures with Preview in OS X

1:01 /

Preview is so much more than a viewing app. On today's Tekzilla Daily, Veronica shows you how to use its simple editing tools to make the most of this free program.

[ Music ] ^M00:00:06 >> Hey everyone, welcome to Tekzilla Daily, I'm Veronica Belmont. We've recently received an OS X tip from loyal viewer Gualberto and we thought we'd pass it on to the rest of you. He writes, "The other day, I was playing around with Preview and I discovered that I can do more than I could ever imagine. What called my attention the most was its ability to edit the pictures. The different tools for making a selection are quite interesting. For a free application, it's more than enough." Thanks for the heads up Gualberto. The annotate tool is an easy way to add simple things like circles or lines or even text. And the select tool lets you crop around figures with precision. I often forget that Preview can do more than just preview. Now if you have a tip or trick that you wanna share, then e-mail us at tekzilla@revision3.com. And don't forget tekzilla.com, it's "the place" to find more tips, tricks, product reviews and how-tos. ^M00:00:53
