Now that Microsoft has unveiled its new Surface Tablet and Apple recently announced its new lineup of laptops, you can imagine there will be a glut of older laptop models up for sale. But finding a good deal and a quality product from a reliable source can be tricky. CNET's Kara Tsuboi has some tips on where to look for the best deals.

-- A refurbished -- previously owned laptop is the best way to score -- great machine -- killer price. And one of the best places to start shopping is actually the Apple Store online.
