Now that Microsoft has unveiled its new Surface Tablet and Apple recently announced its new lineup of laptops, you can imagine there will be a glut of older laptop models up for sale. But finding a good deal and a quality product from a reliable source can be tricky. CNET's Kara Tsuboi has some tips on where to look for the best deals.

-- A refurbished -- previously owned laptop is the best way to score -- great machine -- killer price. And one of the best places to start shopping is actually the Apple Store online. Apple is a great job to solar products and -- all the functions as if -- new out of the box. Besides coming from a trusted source you also get the benefit of their one year warranty if any problems sneak up on you know. Now the prices are pretty reasonable but they're not rock bottom for those kinds of deals you're going to have to do your homework and -- savvy shopper.
