CES 2014: SmartThings Home Automation will integrate everything in your house

SmartThings Home Automation will do everything in your house for you.

Hi. I'm Ry Crist, live in the SmartThings House. It's CES 2014 in Las Vegas and we're really excited about the SmartThings Labs that they're announcing. This is gonna be the integration of a lot of third-party devices into the SmartThings ecosystem. So, for instance, if I press this button on the Jawbone on my wrist here and let the system know that I'm awake, and it's morning, and I'm ready to start my morning routine. You watch the light start to come on behind me. There's Philips Hue Bulbs integrated into the system. If I walk over this way, you see the Belkin WeMo motion detector plugged in here. It sees me coming as I go for a coffee cup. And it knows I want coffee, the coffeemaker starts brewing behind me. So through SmartThings Labs, all this stuff will turn on - Belkin, Philips, Sonos, August, Jawbone - all these things working with the SmartThings Eco-system. And that's exciting for 2014.
