The best slow-mo videos that turn mundane objects into worlds of wonder.

Welcome to CNET Top 5, where each time we meet, we count down another hot CNET list. I'm Tom Merritt. Video has changed our perceptions, giving us a new way of seeing the world. Some of the most revealing are slow-motion videos, and not just for sports. Slow motion can unveil a strange universe where water makes crowns and horses levitate. So...let's count down the top 5 slow-motion videos. At No. 5, A bullet being shot into a pack of explosives. There have been plenty slow-mo shots of bullets, but the explosives is a nice touch doncha think? Coming in at No. 4, People being punched I already didn't like the idea of being punched, I didn't need that to prove it. Up to No. 3, The karate chop Did you see how his hand goes all flat and wobbly when it hits the brick. Creepy! Sliding in at No. 2, Shark Attack Who says dolphins are the most graceful? Sharks can EAT while being graceful. Before we get to No. 1, time for another lame prize. One slow-mo video that didn't make the top 5 was the golf ball getting shot into a lava lamp. We're not encouraging you to shoot a golf ball into it, but we are giving away a lava lamp. Who took the pictures of the race horse that proved all four feet left the ground at once. Be one of the first ten people to post the correct answer at blog.cnettv.com for a chance to win the lava lamp. All right. Let's get to our No. 1. The top slow-motion video. At No. 1, it's... A sword and egg. Watch! I have nothing to add to that. Pure poetry. Nice call slicing at an angle don't you think? Well That's it for this edition of CNET Top 5. Be sure to go to blog.cnettv.com to put in your answer to the trivia question and a chance to win the lava lamp. I'm Tom Merritt. See you next time.
