First Look: Shure SE535 Sound Isolating Earphones

Anyone looking for ultracompact headphones with top-notch sound quality should consider the Shure SE530 Sound Isolating Earphones. This set will cost you a pretty penny, but it'll be worth it.

If you're the type of person that demands the best quality audio from your portable listening device, you've come to the right place. I'm Jasmine France, and I'm taking a first look at the Shure SE535 Sound Isolating Earphones. Now, if that sounds familiar, that's because Shure had a previous model called SE530, on which these were based. Now, these have the same exact interior technology as their predecessors, but actually they've made the ear buds smaller than before, which is great because they're already pretty large and that's because you have triple drivers in each one. That means you get a dedicated tweeter and dual woofers in each earpiece. So that's pretty good for something this size. The other difference between these and the Shure SE530's is that you no longer get the module cable, which will be a downside for some. But considering how thick and durable this cable is and the great warranty that Shure offers, I'm not really worried about it. You'll also get the full line of accessories, which includes a zipper carrying case, a volume attachment, airline adapter, a [unk] adapter an earwax cleaning tool- gross but necessary, and also the Shure Premium Fit Kit, which includes a vast array of foam and silicone tips. Now, these are luxury earphones and you are going to pay for it. These will run you about $499. But the durable design and excellent stellar sound quality probably make it worthwhile for the audiophiles out there. I'm Jasmine France and this has been a first look at the Shure SE535 Earphones.
