[MUSIC] A year ago the HP Spectre x360 became one of my favorite laptops, it's simple really, for under a 1000 US dollars this laptop comes with practically everything I need. Head turningly sleek design, check Speedy core i5 processor, check. Spacious keyboard and touchpad, yes. Beautiful 1080p touch screen, you betcha. Even the battery life is surprisingly great. I see about six hours of real world work on a charge and ten hours of HD video playback. And unlike most in lightweight laptops, the Spectre x360 has all the ports I need. At work, I plug in two external monitors, a mouse, and a gigabit ethernet adapter to transform it into my workstation. When I commute home on an overcrowded train, I can bend the screen over backwards to easily fit on my lap. It's great. There are only two reasons I might hesitate to buy a new 13-inch Spectre today. First, there's a new 15-inch model that's just as good if you're willing to pay a little extra. Second, Spectre X360 isn't the only excellent thin and light laptop you can buy today. The Razor Blade Stealth and Dell XPS, 13 are excellent alternatives for about the same money. But if you're looking for a laptop that does this. The HP Spectre x360 is my go to pick. [MUSIC]
