Quick Tips: Save links on Facebook

1:03 /

Learn how to quickly save links to your favorite stories on Facebook so that you can revisit them later.

[MUSIC] Facebook is a great way to discover interesting, important stories and links and cat videos. But sometimes you just want to save a story for later. Instead of emailing it to yourself, here's a quick way to save your favorite Facebook stories. Using the Facebook mobile app, find the story that you want to save for later. For this to work it has to be a post with a link in it, not just a status update. Next, tap the arrow in the upper right hand corner of the post and select Save, that's it. To go back and find your saved post in the mobile app, tap the More button in the bottom right, and select Saved from the Favorites menu. Now, if you're back on your computer, head over to Facebook, and you should see a new icon in the left column called Saved. And while you're here, you'll notice that you can also save articles from the desktop version of Facebook by clicking in the corner of the post. So there you go. That's how to quickly save articles and links on Facebook so you can go back and read them later. For more quick tips like this, visit cnet.com/how-to. [MUSIC]
