First Look: Samsung Ultra Touch

0:56 /

At GSMA 2009, Kent German takes a First Look at the Samsung Ultra Touch, a touch-screen phone that's packed with multimedia features.

[ Music ] >> Kent German: Hi. I'm Kent German, senior editor here at CNET News.com. I'm here at the GSMA World Congress in Barcelona to show you the Samsung Ultra Touch. This has Samsung's TouchWiz interface. So what that is is you can see all icons here on the side, but it has a touch screen here. Also has the regular keyboard down here, but you can use the onscreen keypad if you like. Has an 8 megapixel camera. You can see that on the back. You can see the lens. There is a self-portrait mirror, and there's also a flash. It does have the Media Player, of course, and music. Does have Bluetooth, organizer functions, messaging, and e-mail. So really a mid- to high-eye level Samsung phone. It really does center on the multimedia. Right now, this is the only color they have. It is a quad band geosome [phonetic] phone, and is does offer 3G as well. I'm Kent Sherman, and this is the Samsung Ultra Touch. [ Music ]
