Tech Industry: Samsung PND8000 Series Plasma

0:49 /

At CES 2011, Sharon Vaknin takes a look at the Samsung PND8000 Series Plasma.

-Hi! I'm Sharon Vaknin for cnet.com, here with the first look at the Samsung PND 8000 series plasma. Now, this is an ultra-slim display. It's only 1.5 inches deep. It's also a 3D TV and has Samsung's Real Black Filter, so black levels are preserved even in really bright rooms. It's also internet ready with built-in Wi-Fi and access to Samsung's app store where you can download apps like Pandora or Netflix. Another nice feature is that this TV comes with a touchscreen remote. Pricing isn't available, but Samsung tells us that this TV will be out in the spring. For cnet.com, I'm Sharon Vaknin and this is a first look at the Samsung PND 8000 plasma TV.
