Brian Tong takes a first look at the Samsung HW-D7000 from the showfloor of CES 2011

-Brian Tong here at CES 2011 with cnet.com and right next to me is Samsung's HWD7000. This is the first AV receiver with an integrated Blu-ray player. And Samsung has packed it in their top line Blu-ray players. You're gonna get access to their Smart Hub services, and also, there's 2D to 3D conversion, also SD to HD like we've seen at some of their players this year. Now, this will come packed with Wi-Fi. On the back side, you'll see 4 HDMI ports and 3 component inputs. It will also support Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD and 3D sound support to really make that audio-video experience real in your living room all around you. Now, there's no set price point as of yet, but we'd expect to see this some time in the first half of 2011. There you have it. You're first look at Samsung's HWD7000, the first AV receiver with an integrated Blu-ray player.
