First Look: Pivothead Durango video-recording eyewear

1:40 /

Pivothead's pricey Durango video-recording eyewear is a fast, easy way to shoot Web-friendly POV movies.

Hater I'm Josh Goldman senior editor with CNET and this is a look at the pitted head to Ringo video recording eyewear. Now out from far away these -- just look like regular sunglasses but when you get up close. Buried in between lenses is in -- England's. That's backed by an eight megapixel C must answer. Now that you can record up to 1080. HD video at thirty frames per second. And take eight megapixel photos. Just press forward on this rocker and that it starts recording. Pressing back captures photos and inside the arm is eight gigs of memory for storing up to an hour of full HD video. All powered by a battery that charges off this -- USB port. The ROKR can also be used to change the resolution in your court -- 2720. And you can also change the focus mode. More settings for the glasses can be accessed through that piece of desktop software. And there are plans to you have an IOS and Android app to do the same things as well. Video quality is good about what you'd get from a high end Smartphone or mini cam corder. But considering its 350 dollar price tag. You might. Find that a little disappointing. On the other hand you're probably not going to want to strap your Smartphone -- your forehead and these you can just pop about it and it -- start recording. I'm Josh Goldman and that's look at the direct no glasses.
