CES 2013: Panasonic rolls out streaming-media boxes

1:06 /

At CES 2013 in Las Vegas, Panasonic takes on Roku with the announcement of two new streaming-media devices.

So leading the chart for our new 2013 Blue-ray line is our BDT 2030 Blu-ray disc player. The 230 features IPTV connectivity, VIERA Connect platform. It also features Miracast, a new content shifting feature, which makes it easy to view photos captured on your smartphones, tablets or PCs on your smart Viera TVs. And for the first time, we will be launching two streaming video players. The flagship of this new category is our MST60, which features our Viera Connect IPTV platform for accessing services such as gaming, music, social networking, sports and video on demand applications. The MST also includes a web browser and our new Miracast feature.
