Car Tech Video: Mini Crossover concept

0:55 /

One thing's for sure: Minis just keep getting less so.

[ Car speeding ] ^M00:00:05 [ Music ] ^M00:00:10 >> How far can you push the mini-thing, this far? This is the Mini Crossover Concept and it's heading to market in 2010. About 6 inches wider than the current Mini Clubman, that's the new wagon they just brought out and about the same amount taller. Now, was that still worthy of being called the Mini? Note some body details: The Mini van's style left side door, and where the Clubman has dual doors in the back, this crossover has a single one on the side hand, so that may not make into production. In production we'd expect this Mini Crossover to have the same power train choices as other Mini siblings, though the idea of all-wheel drive is intriguing. ^M00:00:52 [ Music ]
