CNET News Video: Microsoft debuts 'Surface' for tablet crowd

Microsoft's Steve Ballmer and Steven Sinofsky announce a line of tablet devices at press event in Los Angeles Monday. The Surface tablets, running Windows 8, feature 10.6-inch touch screens wrapped in a magnesium case. They also feature a magnetically-attached, 3mm-thick Touch Cover that folds down and functions as a full touch-screen keyboard.

Best. It's been true. Microsoft surface. It embodies the notion. Of hardware and software -- really pushing each other. People do want to create. Edit and so. They want to work. And they wanna play. They -- -- be on their couch. They wanted to get their deaths. And they want to be on the go. Surface is super thin at nine point three millimeters. It's just been enough for this full size USB port.
