1:36 /

At TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says his biggest mistake was betting on HTML 5 apps two years ago. Since then, the company has-focused around building native apps.

What what are some of the big mistakes -- made it what time -- into perspective about. The last few years I think the biggest mistake that we made -- the company is betting too much. Each demo -- -- isn't needed because. It just wasn't there right and it's not it's a hot bat. A long term really excited about it and yes and more people on a daily basis using a mobile web based. And we have used -- IOS or Android apps my greatest hope some -- -- -- big thing for us but now there's no doubt that you know we went for this approach. Regardless internal print -- difficult piece where we basically I want this this. Idea that we can take the infrastructure -- we built -- pushing -- every day night. App Store I'm building built in web code on the website out it to be friendly and mobile development. And just -- to get on the and it -- decision two years ago they're going after. So we took us in sixteen months -- -- and get that developers going. I'm another four months or so to decide what to do it on after we kind of committed to doing and then you start over and start running -- -- -- -- -- hybrids is where we are now I'm having worked for years it's really people I think it probably we will not. -- and is one of the biggest mistakes not because if you. -- -- -- -- Is -- good -- entering formal release.
