Loaded: Showing some skin
>> Google lets you customize your search result. The ClarionMiND launches just about a year too late. And Victoria Secret shows some skin on your mobile device. It's Monday November 24, I'm Natali Del Conte and it's time to get Loaded.

>> You can now customize your Google results using the company's SearchWiki. This was launched late last week and it gives you control over the results you get when you Google any given term. You can move results up, delete results or leave yourself notes on the results page when you're logged in to your Google account. This won't change the algorithm of Google Search meaning that you can't affect the results that someone else gets when they search that same term. This capability is there by default, so you won't have to opt it. I think it's safe to say that the Dell Inspiron Mini is my favorite of all the Netbooks. I just really like it a lot. If you're thinking about getting the gift for your favorite female or your favorite feminine person consider the Inspiron in pink or red. The two colors just launched late last week along with the graffiti-like design by artist Tristan Eaton for the less feminine person in your life. The iPhone got another firmware update on Friday. IPhone 2.2 is 246-megabytes and it has a few things I've been waiting to see, such as Street View and Google Maps, a few mail and Safari enhancement and better sound quality for visual voice mail. It also has over- the- air podcast downloading, although the size limitation does preclude you from downloading Loaded unfortunately, so you have to remember to do a hard sync. Oh well. YouTube is experimenting with HD videos. The site started rolling out a few high definition videos with stereo sound recently. The new format consisted videos in 720p resolution with the wide screen format option. This is yet another example of YouTube playing catch up to Hulu. With more professional content deals and higher quality it does seem like their right on NBC's heels, but then again if YouTube really wanted to compete with Hulu,, they would get an interface makeover. There really just isn't anything pretty about YouTube. It's utilitarian. The ClarionMiND is getting close to launch this month according to Endgadget. This is a mobile Internet device that I think is probably about a year too late to market. It comes in black, red or white, has a 4.8-inch touchscreen, runs on Linux and has 4-gigs of memory. It's meant for web browsing or media playing, which is great, but it's $650. You can get a full-fledged Netbook for less than that. I wouldn't say no to one of these, but I can't say that they're really filling a huge need in this market either. Sorry Clarion you go back to the drying board and come back to us with a Netbook. US soldiers better learn how to use Cloud computing because the army is no longer allowing them to use USB sticks, CD's, flashcards or any other portable storage device. ZDNet reports that service members have been asked to cease from using these devices due to security threats. Exceptions will be made for mission-critical needs and those devices will have to be scanned from malware. This may seem slightly paranoid, but ZDNet reports that there has been a 10% increase in malware coming directly from removable media. I debated telling you this story, but I know my audience is largely male, so I'm going to indulge you guys a little. Victoria Secret, the company that makes underthings for women has launched a streaming mobile channel where you can watch the models show off their panties from your cell phone at any given time. Victoria Secret is using MediaFLO in partnership with our very own CBS Mobile. Most of the content will come from the 2008 Fashion Show. If you go there now you'll find behind the scenes action from the show, which actually happened a few weeks ago. The show airs on December 3, but you'll be able to see it on your mobile device anytime after that. So there you go boys. And obviously this is for boys, right? I mean someone like me who actually buys their product wouldn't watch something like this. This is gratuitous skin strutting for the gentlemen out there, so you might as well enjoy it, just probably not while you're on a bus or a train. Those are all your headlines for today, but we'll be back tomorrow with more. Incidentally, I won't be back tomorrow, so Mark Licea will be filling-in for me. I'm heading back to San Francisco for my sister's weeding. So I'll be off on Tuesday being bossed around by my sister in preparation for her nuptials. But I will see you on Wednesday with a special Thanksgiving episode of Loaded, which you won't wanna miss -- trust me on this one. Also, don't forget about our Holiday Help Desk. We'll be Live from San Francisco all day on Black Friday, November 28. Call in, write in or send us your photos about your gadget shopping experience at CBS imobile. I'll be in San Francisco with Tom Merritt, Molly Wood, Brian Tong, and Brian Cooley. We'll be talking to you about shopping, shopping, shopping for technology -- my very favorite thing. You won't wanna miss this. I'll see you on Wednesday and Friday, but thank you for watching this Monday I'm Natali Del Conte with CNET TV and you've just been Loaded.
