First Look: Lifeproof's Nuud iPhone 5 case

0:58 /

The company's latest waterproof iPhone case leaves your screen exposed for optimal clarity and touch-sensitivity.

Hi, I'm David Carnoy, executive editor for CNET.com and I'm here with LifeProof's new Nuud case that is spelled, N-U-U-D, but it does signify that it is a nude case, it has no screen cover and yet this is a waterproof case. How that works is that the case seals very tightly against your screen, but leaves it exposed so you get better clarity and better touch sensitivity. This case comes in 2 colors. It retails for $89.99, that's $10 more than LifeProof's case that does have a cover called the fr?, but this is something that a lot of people want. They want a tough waterproof case, but they don't necessarily want a screen cover on it, so LifeProof now offers both. I'm David Carnoy and that's the LifeProof Nuud case for the iPhone 5. Thanks for watching.
