LG updates L series with Android KitKat trio
Hey, everyone.
I'm Jessica Dolcourt from CNET here at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona.
LG has announced a new L Series.
This is the L90, L70, and L40.
All 3 phones run on Android 4.4 KitKat and they are all running 3G, not 4G.
The L90 is largest of the trio at 4.7 inches.
It's got a 4.7-inch QHD
display, a 1.2 gigahertz quad-core processor.
On the back you have an 8-megapixel camera and there is a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front.
The phone has 8 gigabytes of storage.
Stepping down a little bit you've got the L70 which is ever so slightly smaller at 4.5 inches, but its display is only 800 x 400 pixels.
It also has a 1.2 gigahertz dual-core processor.
It does have the 8-megapixel camera or a 5-megapixel camera depending on which market it's gonna
be in and the front-facing camera is VGA.
Storage is also cut by half at 4 gigabytes.
The most entry level of the 3 is the L40.
It's also the smallest with a 3.5-inch screen.
It's got a 480 x 320 pixel resolution and the same 1.2 gigahertz dual-core processor as the L70.
However the camera is just 3 megapixels and it also has 4 gigabytes of storage.
Things roll off with the L90 launching first in Russia in March with the other ones to
follow.
There's no pricing information yet, but you can guess that the L90 is gonna be the priciest and the L40 will be the least expensive.
