LG Optimus 2X, a beefy new smartphone, gets a first look from CES 2011.

I'm Nicole Lee, senior associate editor for CNET.com and this is our first look at the LG Optimus 2X. It is the world's first mobile that have a dual-core Tegra 2 processor from NVIDIA, so it's super fast in navigating menus and scrolling your list. On the front is a very nice 4-inch colorful display. On the top is HDMI, Micro SD. You can videos on the big screen TV. It also has HDMI mirroring, so you can watch video on both the phone and the TV. On the front is a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. On the back is 8 megapixel camera as well as an LED flash. Features include Wi-Fi as well as mobile hotspot capability. You can also record and watch 1080p video. The LG Optimus 2X is an android 2.2, but it is available to android 2.3. The LG Optimus 2X is global release, so pricing availability is still unknown. I'm Nicole Lee and this has been the first look at the LG Optimus 2X.
