CES 2014: Keep your devices charged with Cobra's portable CPP battery series

The CPP 100 and 300 from Cobra Electronics harness solar energy to juice up your mobile devices.

Hi everybody, it's Lynn La from CNET, and I'm here at CES 2014 in Las Vegas, and right now, we are gonna check out Cobra Electronic's series of solar powered battery chargers known as the CPP 100 and the CPP 300. The CPP 100 has a 6000 milliampere hour battery inside, and I have these high capacity solar powered chargers, it takes about 24 hours for it to fully charge, and it includes these two ports for USB and micro USB input. The CPP 300 on the other hand also has a 6000 milliampere hour battery, except it also features a ruggedized exterior and it has two charging cables included as well as two USB output. In addition, it has twice the amount of surface area for its solar panel, so it takes faster to charge itself at about 12 hours. Now both these products made their debut at CES and they will be available starting in March with for one starting at $49.95, and this one at $79.95.
