Nicole Lee checks out the latest Bluetooth headset from Jawbone that comes with a brand-new design and multiprocessor architecture.

I'm Nicole Lee, senior associate editor for CNET.com, and this is our first look at the Aliph Jawbone Era, the latest bluetooth headsets from the makers of the Jawbone Bluetooth headset. The Jawbone Era has a brand new design. It also has a brand new multiprocessor architecture that allows an HD audio as well as a brand new NoiseAssassin 3.0 that allow to have better noise reduction and better wind reduction. The interesting thing about the Aliph Jawbone Era is it's also one of the first bluetooh headsets to have an accelerometer. For example, when you wind the headset you can tap it a couple of times to answer a call. When you're not wearing the headset, you can shake it a couple of times to answer a call. You can also shake it 4 times to play the headset. As with the other Jawbone bluetooth headsets, the Jawbone Era has multi point technology. It also shows battery meter next to the iPhone battery meter next to the iPhone battery meter. It also has battery meter for blackberries. Another feature is A2DP audio streaming. As we mentioned, the Jawbone Era also features brand new audio technology, so it features HD noise with a better white band speaker. The Aliph Jawbone Era can also be hooked up to Jawbone's myTALK service on the computer, so you can hook up all of your address book updates into the phone. Another benefit of the myTALK service is that you can customize the talk button on the Jawbone to pair with the different variety of their pretty applications. For example, you can text messages via voice or you can even send to update via voice. Overall, the headset has a very interesting design, very interesting new architecture as you can see on the front it's very attractive. Also on the side, it has a voice activity sensor that you have to have lying on your cheek for the best voice quality. Overall, we think the Aliph Jawbone Era has excellent audio quality. Thanks to the new HD audio and Noise Assassin technology. It's also reasonably priced at $130 with all of the myTALK applications involved and the new accelerometer technology as well. It also comes in a very attractive packaging. I'm Nicole Lee. This has been the first look at the Aliph Jawbone Era.
