At CES 2008, Molly Wood takes a look at the iRiver P10, a portable media player that comes in 33-gigabyte capacity, customizable touch screen, and built-in antenna.

[ Music ] ^M00:00:04 >> Hi, I'm Molly Wood from CNET.com here at CES 2008. I'm taking a First Look at the iRiver P10. Now, this is a portable media player that comes in 33-gigabyte capacity, which is a capacity you're probably not used to hearing about. It's a very design-focused device portable media player. It's got a soft touch kind of feel around the edge. It feels nice in the hand. The controls, the buttons on the outside are recessed, so there's kind of a navigation button here at the top that you kind of just press gently, there's power along the top. Now, it's a touch screen and so, you navigate it with a stylus. You can touch all the menu buttons here. It also, one interesting make is that it's got a customizable touch screen, so you can actually customize the menus if you wanna make the specific buttons larger or a different color, you can actually drag them around the screen and there's a color palette that will let you change the color with the buttons, which is kind of a neat trick if you make your video button, for example the most prominent. It supports the DMB data service, which is only available on Asia and Europe for now, but as a result it has an antenna built into the side, so that you could get television and other services over the data package. Now, again, I mentioned it's 33-gigabyte of storage, now I just have things sticking out of it. A very nice looking comfortable portable media player there for right now at least is only launching in Korea in February of 2008.
