First Look: Huawei's quad-core Ascend D1 Quad XL

The unlocked Ascend D1 Quad XL from Huawei has an 8-megapixel camera, a 4.5-inch touch screen, and a whopping 2,600mAh battery for extra juice.

-Hello everybody. It's Lynn La from CNET here with the unlocked Huawei Ascend D quad XL. Now, as you may have guess, the quad XL has a quad core of 1.2GHz K3V2 ARM processor. And it's powered by 2.6 empty hour battery. It is 4.5 inch HD IPS plus display has a 1280x720 pixel resolution and 330 PPI. On the back, there's an 8 megapixel camera pack with lots of photo editing features like filters, panoramic shooting and facial effects. It's also capable of shooting 1088-Key full HD video. In addition, it has a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, has 4G capabilities, a micro SD card slot, and 8 gigs of internal storage. Other features include a few UI customization options, like a 2D and 3D interface mode, and skin and icon piece. If you're interested, the phone costs about $624 with added contract. Again, I'm Lynn, and this has been the Huawei Ascend D quad XL.
