CNET's Luke Westaway tries the new House of Marley Liberate headphones

Hi. I'm Luke Westaway for CNET here at CES in Las Vegas. I'm taking a look at the House of Marley Liberate headphones. So, as you can see, House of Marley is going for an organic kind of style with these headphones. A quite light is industrial metal band across the top. It's got these holes in it and that covers this canvass material, which also feels quite nice. It's made of recycled materials. The company is very keen to boast things are recycled water bottles. The only design downside that I talk at the moment is these ear cups don't swivel. It's all way down the cable that just remote, which is good news for owners of Apple's iOS devices 'cause it lets you do things like pause musics, skip track, generally control playback. The Liberate headphones cost $99 and they're gonna be coming out in the months following the summer. I had a great go with them and I thought they were pretty pricey, though, I wasn't blown away by the sound quality. Bear in mind, though, that it's not an especially high-end or expensive headphones. So, they got an interesting design. First impression is that the sound is okay. But we'll have to wait and see whether they're $99 worth fun. I'm Luke Westaway for CNET and this is the House of Marley Liberate headphones.
