First Look: Harman Kardon sweet-sounding Classic headphones

2:25 /

Harman's $199.95 on-ear headphones combine good looks and excellent performance to create an enticing package.

I'm David Carnoy executive editor for cnet.com and -- -- would -- -- cartons plastic headphones. -- -- has recently gotten into the headphone game and this is one of several models in its lineup. It's when -- -- 499. Dollars. And what distinguishes it from a lot of other headphones is obviously its stylish design -- a unique look a lot of headphones these days are starting at square. Ear cups and this is in that genre -- -- also inching about this is that the -- -- On it actually comes in two sizes. It's that top middle portion that I'm talking about that's replaceable. And with fishing was I didn't think I had that big -- head. And so when I tried the smaller one on its -- pretty well when it shifted to the extra large size on that metal band. It fit a lot better I felt a lot better about the headphones comfort level of these do you swivel arm and they do -- detachable. Cable that cable has a built in microphone. As well as remote control -- -- with the iPhone and other IOS devices. Those controls in that microphone. Will not work with a lot of Android Smartphones and other Smartphones but they will work with some models just hard to tell which ones. Aside from their distinct design aware this feels really do shine is in the sound department of these are nicely balanced head phones. They have an audio fault sound. Profile by that I mean they don't extinction -- the -- too much -- the trouble they really even sounding rich sounding detailed. And I like them a lot on their good for a wide range of music. The other thing worth mentioning is that these guys. Full flat but they don't fold up. Still because they fold flat and they are actually very flat head phones when you put them in their carrying case -- -- don't take up that much room in your bag. That's -- -- these are deathly really nice pair of headphones the -- -- expensive for some people at 199. But they do you hold up well against the competition. Other headphones like the B and WP. Threes for instance that also -- to -- for one -- we did think these were a little bit better than those. I'm David Carnoy and these are the -- cartoon classics and though. Thanks life.
