Hands-on with the Sony Xperia Tablet S
I -- Scott Stein and previously Sony's tablets have been focused on being TV accessories.
And the new Xperia tablet -- continues that tradition but it brings in the Xperia name brands.
An update some software and also some snacks and -- nine point four inch IPS screen.
Uses -- Quad Core tegra three processor inside.
And configurations -- 163264. Gigabyte going up to 599.
Inside there's some interesting. Software ranging from -- universal remote.
That -- -- work like an IR blaster turn on -- -- all the devices in your home theater but also there's a new watch now app.
The kind of working -- socially connected TV guide to show you what's actually on live television what's hot.
And what people you might be interested -- based on your interest that you put in there.
And it's a different -- of a look kind of on a social grid and when you flip up here -- actually changed -- that channel.
Another clever addition to the software on this -- tablet is guest mode finally allowing you to switch to different user modes including -- for children.
And limit the access to their apps switching back and forth -- sign that works -- an -- for years.
The rest of its Android four point oh tablet pretty lightweight and that same funky wedge design that was in the previous Sony Apple line.
Including PlayStation mobile connectivity they're open to new accessories as well.
Including any Wafer thin keyboard case and a bunch of new interesting stands.
Arts accredit landscape with tablets but the -- tablet this looks like it's going to dive into the TV accessories territory.
Banking on its usability -- and I'm Scott Stein and that's a look at the new.
Sony -- tablet -- check -- cnet.com one.
