Navigating your way through the slew of new gadgets that hit the market every year is no easy task. Luckily, CNET compiled a master list of the "World's Coolest Gadgets." CNET's Kara Tsuboi reports.

I'm Kara Tsuboi, CNET.com. And excluding mobile phones and laptops, here are the top 5 tech gadgets as recommended by CNET editors. The Kodak Playsport is an excellent mini-camcorder that in addition to a wide range of standard video features lets you take video underwater at depths of 10 feet. Needless to say, it's pretty durable. For under $100, the Roku XDS streams your favorite media content to your television Wirelessly; Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Pandora, without the mess and stress. The Klipsch Image S4i earphones are ideal for iPhone and iPod users. The sound quality is terrific and CNET editors particularly liked the in-cord remote with microphone so you can take that call without skipping a beat. Eliminate the need for multiple remote controls for your TV, DVR, and stereo with the Logitech Harmony One Universal Remote. A clear winner in its category, this all-in-one is easy to navigate and charge and comes in a sleek ergonomically designed package. And finally, there are a lot of e-readers on the market these days. But the Amazon Kindle 3rd Generation with Wi-Fi is considered the best of the best. The size is compact, the screen easy to read and the improved battery life gives you up to 4 weeks of happy reading. For more details and complete reviews, go to CNET.com. In San Francisco, I'm Kara Tsuboi, CNET.com for CBS News.
