Free e-book lending on Open Library

Invitations for the next iPad launch did in fact go out this week.
The new iPad will be announced next Wednesday, March 2nd, so hold on to your horses.
CNET will of course be there to cover the event.
A new line of MacBook pros were also announced today.
There wasn't a big fancy announcement.
The new laptops have Intel's Light Peak technology and
Sandy Bridge 32nm core I series chipsets.
The 15- and the 17-inch models also have AMD graphics cards.
Microsoft began rolling out its first software updates, Windows Phone 7, this week.
Reports came out that the updates break the phones are basically broke the software making the phones unusable.
This happened only a small number of phone though, apparently only 10 percent.
Microsoft said that they had a 90 percent success rate and the 10 percent of phones that did have the problem either had inadequate storage on the phone or bad
connectivity.
You can now borrow E-books from the open library.
The same way you borrow books from your local library.
This is the E-book lending program from the open library, which is a group of libraries lead by the internet archive.
There are over 80,000 titles available to read either in a browser or on an E-reader that reads E-Pub or PDF formats.
You can borrow up to 5 books at a time for 2 weeks, but books can only be borrowed by one person at a time.

Netflix has reached the deal with our parent company, CVS, to stream CVS TV shows for a minimum of 2 years.
These include current CVS entertainment shows as well as past shows like Star Trek and Cheers.
The content becomes available in April.
In terms of the deal, we are not disclosed and of course, we don't have any further inside information.
Our shows are not included unfortunately, and finally, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has been immortalized in a comic book character.
The 48-page biographical comic is called Mark Zuckerberg, Creator of Facebook.
It tells the story of Zuckerberg's true business practices that led him to leave one of the most successful and talked about [unk] businesses at our time.
The comic is available now for 699.
