CNET News Video: First live gameplay for Assassin's Creed: Black Flag on the PS4

5:23 /

We get our first look at real-time Sony PS4 gameplay for the Ubisoft pirate adventure Assassin's Creed: Black Flag.

-Now Ubisoft is no stranger to pushing the boundaries of play and with Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, they've created an entirely new world filled with huge beards, rum drinking, swashbuckling and skullduggery. I'm right. I mean who doesn't wanna play a game as Edward Kenway, a pirate trained by assassins, or play as Aveline from Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation on Vita which will be an exclusive PlayStation experience. -Weight of the mark, Kenway. -Maybe he remembers where his rat is hiding before my aim markedly improves. That flushed him out. I'll catch you up, Fetch. -There's no drinking off the deck, lads. -I'll come back for your kind later, lads. -Hello? Lads? Lieutenant, you out here? -Jenkins, what's the news? -It's damn near a riot out there and I reckon Kenway suspects something. He don't miss much. -What was that? You certain you bring some of your sands and torn, Jenkins. Look sharp. Stevens, make certain there's no surprises. I'll secure the other side and watch the back. -Aye. Oh, why it's always me sending to the muck. -Stay here. Shoot anything that moves. -Yes, sir. -Come on. It's time. -Tell me about the beach. -A pirate gathering, sir. Shouldn't stand. -That will suit our purpose. -Oh for a moment I think that these savages. -Have no fear, soldier. This will be the end of it. -What about our man? -He'd been pressing him on all night, but he's not broken yet. -Good. -Quickly. Send a signal. -What was that? -Get him. -What the devil? -Hey, lads. there's Kenway. -Knock the day, lads. Today we shed the king's finest of their braves. Stations, lads. -All hands on deck. -Raise the Black Flag, lads. Let them see it. -You're trekking the helm, Kenway. -Run. Run. -Load the cannons. He's crushed. -Look out. He's on to us. -Let loose the barrel. -He's a bit faster. -Load any shot, lads. -Come on. -Aim at their waist. -Bring down beasty down. -Sink it. -Ease the paths of position. -I'll cleave your legs, boy. Maggots. -We're outnumbered, mate. It's not the first time, Kenway, and it won't be the last.
